Serena Nasir

Hello, my name is Ms Serena and I am the Assistant Head of FS2. This is my seventh year teaching here at GEMS Founders School, during my time here I have taught across both FS1 and FS2. I was born and raised in England, which is where I studied my PGCE and also taught in Reception before making the big move to Dubai. I am passionate about teaching young children and helping them learn lifelong skills through play and lots of exploring. I love teaching Foundation Stage as we learn new things every day and it is always filled with so much fun. I was previously the FS Lead for Communication and Language & Physical Development, two prime areas of learning in our EYFS Curriculum Framework. Developing skills in these areas form a solid foundation for the rest of the learning areas and sets children up for their exciting learning journey through school. I am now looking forward to be the Assistant Head of Year for FS2 for another fun filled year ahead of learning.
