Jodie McNaught

My name is Jodie McNaught and I am Deputy Head of Mathematics, responsible for KS5. It is important for us as a department to ensure every student has access to high quality education and the teachers are able to adapt to the student’s individual needs. An education should prepare them for life beyond the classroom by enabling their curiosity to grow and providing them with the tools necessary for life and employment.

I studied Mathematics at Northumbria University, Newcastle and then went on to study a post graduate degree at Brighton University where I received my PGCE qualification. I then worked at a school in Brighton before moving to Dubai and working at GEMS Founders, where I have been for the last few years. I am really excited to welcome the students into lessons this year and hope they will enjoy every lesson with our fantastic teachers.
