Christopher Bennett

Hello, my name is Chris Bennett and I am the Head of Year 4. I am originally from Manchester, England where I taught in primary schools until July 2020. I was a class teacher as well as Head of Computing across the school. I studied Primary Education at the University of Sunderland where I specialised in Mathematics. 

In August 2020 I moved to Dubai and took up my role here at GEMS Founders. From January 2021 – August 2021, I was the Deputy Head of Innovation and E-Learning, which gave me a fantastic insight into the use of technology across the whole school. This year, I have taken on this new role which will allow me to work closely with both teachers and students to create the best learning outcomes for all the students in Year 4. I am very excited for the challenge ahead and look forward to a great year at GEMS Founders.
