Zahra Malik

As an Advanced Skills Teacher at GFS, I spend my days helping to improve provision and quality across the whole school, and as an Excellence Fellow, I get to take that work further still, collaborating with colleagues across our wider school network and bringing expertise from my background in London.

Within our school, that means working alongside teachers across both Primary and Secondary in the classroom, in planning meetings, and through one-to-one coaching, refining our curriculum and embedding evidence-informed strategies that prepare every student to leave GFS confident, capable, and truly future-ready.

I'm data-driven and results-focused, but people come first: I love building high-performing teams and nurturing the collaborative, ambitious culture that makes GFS such a special place to work. It's one where teachers reflect, grow, and thrive, because when teachers thrive, students do too.
