Natasha Smith

I'm delighted to be part of the team at GEMS Founders School as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Originally from London, I obtained my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in 2007 and I have nearly two decades of experience in education, including nine years as an Assistant Head teacher and two as a Deputy Head in diverse settings in the UK. I completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) in 2022, which has further ignited my commitment to develop effective teaching and learning using research-based methods.

Through my experience of teaching children and leading teams, I have a deep understanding about how children learn and I am committed to ensuring that all students feel valued and achieve their full potential. I am passionate about reading and writing and believe for children to develop they must forge strong relationships in which they feel nurtured and supported.

I am extremely excited to start my journey at GFS and to be working alongside a dedicated team, who hold the children at the forefront of everything that we do.
