Hello. My name is Mrs. Tasmia Zafar.

UAE is a place I’ve referred to as home for the past fifteen years. I began my teaching career thirteen years ago in Dubai, and this is my fourth year at GEMS Founders School, Dubai. I graduated from St. Joseph's College and completed my PGCE from the University of Dundee. During my journey with GEMS Founders School, I have gained immense satisfaction from incorporating our core values into all my lessons. I strongly believe that these are extremely beneficial to the learners and as a result, I have seen them flourish through the academic year. I fully intend to continue in this manner, and I have no doubt that this will be of great benefit to my students. This year, I have taken up the role of Assistant Head of Year 3, alongside my teaching responsibilities. My approach is to inspire children through engaging and challenging lessons, encouraging them to aim higher. Reading books is my favorite way to spend free time. I am a huge promoter of reading and truly believe that doing so assists growth. I will do my best to inculcate this good habit in your child and I eagerly look forward to making a positive impact in their lives.
