Robert Dowdall

My name is Rob Dowdall and I am both a Year 3 teacher and the Head of Air House! This will be my second year in both GEMS Founders School and Dubai, having previously lived in Australia and England. I am originally from Manchester, England. My main role in the House System is staff competition however I include students wherever possible, helping to develop those healthy, positive and effective relationships between staff and students. I am incredibly excited to incorporate the House System into my Year 3 classroom!

I love working with students, ensuring they maximise their full potential whilst being happy, healthy and enjoy their time at school. I firmly believe that happy students are better thinkers, better learners and become better people. I cannot wait to welcome back all of our Air Dragons in August, ready to push for a successful year!
