Hanaa El Sayed

As a founding member of GFS, I have been proud to contribute to the school’s journey since 2016 and to serve on the Senior Leadership Team for the past three years. I am excited to continue working in partnership with the GFS community in a wider role, helping to build on our successes and support the school’s continued growth.

I began my career in education over two decades ago as a foreign language teacher and have since held a range of teaching and leadership positions. I hold a Bachelor of Education, postgraduate qualifications in Curriculum and Methodology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Sheffield Hallam University, and have recently completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).

I am passionate about creating a culture in which every learner feels safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. By fostering both achievement and wellbeing, I aim to help students develop the confidence, character, and skills needed for success in school and beyond.
