Lauren Said

I am Ms. Lauren, and this marks my fifth academic year at the wonderful GEMS Founders School. I'm excited to lead and collaborate with the talented KS1 team this year.

My passion for learning started in my childhood in England, where I was inspired by my primary school teachers. This inspiration led me to complete a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education after earning my degree. Throughout my teaching and leadership journey, I've had the privilege of living and teaching in England, Thailand, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.

I began my teaching journey in the Early Years Foundation Stage and have enjoyed teaching and leading teams across Key Stages One and Two. While working in Thailand and Bahrain, I also took on the role of Head of English for the entire school.

As Assistant Headteacher for KS1, my role is to ensure that all children experience engaging and meaningful learning opportunities. My goal is to inspire and support all students to become confident, curious, and innovative lifelong learners.
