Christopher Bennett

Hello, my name is Chris Bennett and I am the Advanced Skills Teacher for Lower Key Stage 2. I am originally from Manchester, England, where I taught in primary schools until July 2020, working as both a class teacher and Head of Computing. I studied Primary Education at the University of Sunderland, specialising in Mathematics.

In August 2020, I moved to Dubai and joined GEMS Founders. From January to August 2021, I was Deputy Head of Innovation and E-Learning, gaining valuable insight into the use of technology across the whole school.

I am now entering my second year as Advanced Skills Teacher for Lower Key Stage 2, a role that allows me to work closely with both teachers and students to ensure the best possible learning outcomes across Year 3 and 4. Over the past year, I have enjoyed supporting high-quality teaching and learning, leading professional development, and fostering a culture of collaboration. I look forward to building on this success and continuing to make a positive impact at GEMS Founders School, Dubai.
