Hanaa El Sayed
Assistant Principal and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead & Allegations Manager
My passion for education began over 18 years ago and has taken me on a rewarding journey across both primary and secondary schools. Since moving to Dubai in 2011, I have embraced a variety of teaching and leadership roles, each one strengthening my commitment to delivering exceptional learning experiences.
Since the first day GEMS Founders School opened its doors in 2016, I have been proud to contribute to its growth and success. Today, as Assistant Principal and a certified Senior Mental Health Lead, my focus is on creating a school environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
I hold a BA in Education and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Sheffield Hallam University. A firm believer in lifelong learning, I am currently completing my National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) to further develop my expertise in strategic school leadership.
At the heart of my work is the belief that education is a partnership between school and home. I value the trust parents place in us to guide, challenge, and nurture their children, and I am committed to ensuring that every student at GFS leaves with the skills, confidence, and character to thrive in the world beyond our school.
