Assistant Principal - Assessment and Data

As the Assistant Principal for Assessment and Data at GEMS Founders School Dubai, I'm driven by the power of insights to unlock student potential and inform dynamic learning pathways. I'm from Weymouth, Dorset, in the Southwest of England. My journey in education began as a teaching assistant in Devon, followed by completing my PGCE in Primary Education from the University of East London in 2010. Having taught in Ilford, East London, and across the UAE and Qatar, I bring a broad perspective to my role.

I'm a strong advocate for integrating ICT into education, ensuring our students develop the skills necessary for the modern world. My philosophy centres on building genuine connections with each child, understanding their unique needs, and designing lessons that are not only fun and active but also deeply relevant to their lives. I deeply appreciate working in a school that places student well-being at its core, creating a nurturing space where every child can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. In my free time, you'll find me enjoying golf, football, and basketball, or discovering new experiences across the UAE with my wife and & 7-year-old daughter. I'm eager to continue contributing to the vibrant GFS community and championing our students' achievements.
