Sushil Verma

I am an experienced education leader with over 15 years of service across India and the UAE, currently leading as the Head of Moral, Social, and Cultural Studies and MB Cluster Lead at GEMS Founders School, Dubai. My journey in education has been driven by a passion for inspiring both students and educators, fostering school-wide improvement, and embedding high-impact teaching and learning practices aligned with the British curriculum and UAE inspection frameworks.

Over the years, I’ve led curriculum innovation, staff development, and whole-school strategies with a focus on inclusion, student voice, and values-based learning. One of my proudest contributions is the development of The Third Eye of Learning (TTEL)—a metacognitive, SEL-integrated model designed to help students explore multiple perspectives, become reflective learners, and achieve deeper conceptual understanding through inquiry. I also actively promote the use of AI in pedagogy, supporting schools to build future-ready learning environments.

I’ve had the privilege of presenting at leading platforms such as Global Innovation Summit Abu Dhabi and have collaborated with professionals from ADEK, Google, and the robotics education sector to stay ahead in educational innovation. Recognised as ‘Innovator of the Year’ 2023-24 at Global Schools Group, I remain committed to transforming classrooms into inclusive, achievement-oriented spaces where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
