Megan Smith

My name is Megan Smith, and I am proud to be the Head of Year 2 at GFS. This is my fourth year at the school, where I’ve previously taught in both Year 2 and Year 3. During that time, I also held roles as Assistant Head of Year and Science Lead.

Before making the exciting move to Dubai, I spent four years teaching Year 1 and Year 2 in the UK. From a young age, I always loved being in school and building strong, positive relationships with my teachers—something I strive to recreate with every child I teach.

I’m incredibly passionate about active learning and believe in creating meaningful, memorable experiences that inspire and stay with children for life. I’m thrilled to be working with your child this year in Year 2 and look forward to the journey ahead as we learn, grow and create lasting memories together
