As a teacher and senior leader with many years of experience, I have formed very clear views about how children deserve the highest standard of education, regardless of background. My philosophy is that school should be a safe, engaging and happy place for children to thrive and experience a range of learning activities which help them find their strengths. I began teaching as a secondary practitioner and moved into primary after 5 years. I taught across KS1 and KS2 before holding senior leadership roles in three different schools across London.
