Delzin Dastoor

With over a decade of teaching experience, including eight enriching years in Dubai, I have had the privilege of serving at GFS, where I have been dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering academic excellence. My leadership journey began as Head of English for Key Stage 2, a position I held for three years, followed by a rewarding tenure as Head of Year 3. Since last year, I have taken on the role of Advanced Skills Teacher, where I remain committed to advancing both teacher and student growth through innovative, impactful, and evidence-based teaching practices.

My educational philosophy centers on the belief that true learning occurs when students are challenged to step beyond their comfort zones. By selecting content and activities that are both meaningful and rigorous, I strive to cultivate critical thinking and intellectual curiosity. Passion is the cornerstone of my approach—igniting a love for learning that propels students to reach heights they never imagined possible. It is this unwavering passion for teaching and learning that has shaped my career and continues to inspire my journey as an educator and leader.
