Teresa Lally

My name is Teresa Lally and I am the Head of Biology at GFS. I am from Ireland where I received my Bachelor of Science specialising in Microbiology, at the National University of Ireland, Galway. I then went on to study teaching at Liverpool John Moore’s University in the UK. I have been teaching since 2019 and have experience teaching in the UK and now Dubai, both in British curriculum schools. I have taught Chemistry, Physics, and Biology up to KS4 level with Biology being my specialism. I am committed to challenging both myself and my students within my teaching practice.

I am delighted to be living my dream of living in the Middle East. It provides great opportunities not only to develop your career but also to travel the world and experience other cultures. I have gotten the chance to visit places such as the other Emirates, Egypt and Sri Lanka. I look forward to the rest of the academic year.
