Samuel Wernham

Hello! My name is Sam Wernham and this is my first year teaching at GFS. I relocated to Dubai in August 2022 from Warrington, UK, where I have been teaching for 4 years. I gained my degree in Applied Psychology in Liverpool John Moores University and then my PGCE at Edge Hill University. I began my career at a small school in Warrington before moving over to another school in our Primary Academy Trust. During my time there, I have been able to flourish as a classroom practitioner as well as developing my leadership skills becoming the Curriculum Lead and supporting with the design of the science curriculum and writing the design and technology curriculum for the 6 academy schools. I am a very passionate about learning and aim to inspire the next generation. I have a real passion for science because I love learning and teaching all about the world around us!
