Joseph Winn

"Hello, I am Mr. Joe and I am the Assistant Headteacher for KS1 at GEMS Founders School. This is my third year at GFS and my roles have included Head of Year 1 and the Head of Year 2. Originally, I am from Brighton in the UK where I completed my BA (Hons) degree in Education and furthered my education by completing my PGCE at Chichester University in 2015. I moved over to Dubai in 2019 and I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience so far at GEMS Founders School. My ethos as a practitioner focuses on each child, caring for their needs and understanding how they learn most effectively. I consider that the role of a teacher is to be responsible for providing an inclusive, positive, enriching environment that not only fosters self-esteem, but promotes a love for learning. I now look forward to being a part of GEMS Founders School’s journey to excellence and contributing to their continued success."
