Gabriela Fullick

Hello, I’m Ms. Gabriela, I’m originally from Buckinghamshire, UK. I’ve been in Dubai for two years so next year will be my third at GFS teaching Spanish and French. I went to the University of Manchester and lived in the city for 10 years before moving to Dubai. I became a teacher because I’m passionate about helping students follow their dreams and supporting them to become confident people with a love of learning.

As Head of Year 8, I’m have a deep passion for fostering student wellbeing and confidence by creating robust support structures and nurturing environments that empower students to thrive both academically and personally. I blend personalised guidance with innovative wellbeing strategies, ensuring every student feels valued and equipped to grow, flourish and success. Outside the classroom, I love travelling and eating, luckily they make a great combination and love getting recommendations of places around the city. Other than that, I’m a bit of a bookworm and generally spend my weekends lying in the sun or out with my dog, Otis.
