Alice Limb

Interim Assistant Principal – Teaching and Learning

My name is Miss Alice Limb. I am Interim Assistant Principal – Teaching and Learning at GEMS Founders School this year. This is my fourth year in Dubai working at GEMS Founders School. I went to The University of Reading, to study Classics followed by a year studying for a postgraduate teaching degree at Canterbury Christchurch University. After qualifying, I taught in a variety of year groups across Key Stage Two. Before that, I taught at The Academy of Cuxton Schools in England. Whilst at this school, I was the Head of P.E. and Head of Key Stage Two.

Since working in GEMS Founders School, I have been fortunate enough to work in Lower Key Stage 2 and then Upper Key Stage Two as a Head of Key Stage. Within this role, I was able to develop my passion of teaching and learning. I want to continue to drive forwards teaching and learning across the school this year to achieve the highest possible standards. I believe it is important to empower children to believe there is no limit to their capabilities. I will ensure that students have the tools to surpass standards set both morally, socially and academically.
