Our Tuition Fees and other associated costs must be paid up front. Our fees are set in compliance with the rules set by the Knowledge Health and Development Authority (KHDA), and may change, as permitted by the KHDA.

Fee-Payment Schedule

Application Fee

 (payable upon applying for admission): Dh525 (inclusive of VAT)

  • Valid for 2 years and refundable if the school does mot offer students a place, unless, the child's registration is carried forward to the following academic year.
  • Non-refundable if the school offers the student a place but the student chooses not to take it.
  • Not deductible from the total tuition fees to be paid if the student is offered and accepts a place.

Registration Deposit

This deposit is payable after the student has been offered a place and parents have accepted the offer. The registration deposit is 10% of the total tuition fees of an academic year. Please note, this is a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit.

Payment Methods

Fees can be paid by:

  • Cash
  • Cheque (made payable to: GEMS Founders School – Al Barsha)
  • Credit card To help with your cash flow, The Founders School offers parents the availability of paying fees using the GEMS FAB Credit Card. You may contact Mr. Khaleel  at 052-6357549 and Mr. Mohan at 050-1963836 FAB representatives.
  • Online payment
  • Wire transfer (please speak to our accounts representative for details)

Non-Payment of Fees

Students may not be permitted to appear for the school examination if their fees are not paid. Failure to pay school fees may result in a loss of the student’s place in the school, withholding of their school reports, references and/or examination results, as well as temporary or permanent expulsion or exclusion from school.

Student Withdrawals

All students withdrawing from the school must submit notification of their withdrawal in writing to the registrar’s office. A 30-day notification period is required to ensure all necessary documents are ready.

KHDA Fees

  • Transfer from another school (AED 120).
  • Request for student Education Continuation Certificate for visa renewal (AED 120 instead of AED 15).
  • Request for student leaving form for the students who are leaving Dubai (AED 120 instead of AED 15).
  • Request for student transfer between private schools (within the stipulated time frame)-Student transfer (AED 120 instead of AED 15).
  • Request for student transfer between private schools (after the stipulated time frame)-Student transfer (AED 520 instead of AED 15).
  • Request for attestation of student certificate or report card (120 AED instead of 15 AED).
  • Issuance of 'To whomsoever it may concern' certificate for matters related to School – Attestation (AED 120 instead of AED 15).
  • Issuance of 'To whomsoever it may concern' certificate for matters related to Students - Academic History (AED 120 instead of AED 15).
  • Request to change student data at the Authority - Student exam grade amendment (AED 120 instead of AED 15).

In case any of the above services are required, please make payment of the respective amount at the school cashier (Fee Counter) before collecting the document listed above.
